Keystone Edge tells the story of the new economy in Pennsylvania--a narrative of creative people and businesses, new development, cool places to live, and the best places to work and play.
Each Thursday, the Web site and weekly online magazine presents original stories, video and photography to tell that story, from Pittsburgh to Philly. Get Keystone Edge free in your e-mailbox each week by signing up here.

Managing EditorJoe Petrucci
Joe got his media start in broadcast journalism, producing and announcing for several radio stations in the tri-state area before making the switch to newspapers. He spent a decade working as an award-winning general assignment reporter, sports writer and sports editor at newspapers in Eastern Pennsylvania, won a few awards. After stints running a non-profit and at a public relations agency, Joe freelanced for Keystone Edge as a section editor before gleefully taking the managing editor position. A New York native, Joe has lived in small and large towns throughout Pennsylvania and is currently adapting to Main Line life, having settled in the Philadelphia suburb of Ardmore with his wife Jennifer. Joe plays accordion and ukulele and has supported several musical projects in the region.
Managing PhotographerMichael PersicoMichael is a professional photographer living and working in Philadelphia. He specializes in clean, thoughtful imagery that evokes feeling for, and from, his subjects. When not behind the lens, his interests range from building the ultimate single speed bicycle to riding New Jersey's fabled surf on a classic longboard. When pressed to name his artistic inspirations, he cryptically says, "I am inspired by photographers of the past, and motivated by photographers of the present. God, that's hokey, isn't it?" Michael has shot for Anthem magazine, Plan B Magazine, Anti- Records, Ace Fu Records and Philadelphia Weekly.
Innovation and Job News EditorRebecca VanderMeulenRebecca is a transplant from western Michigan, where she and her brother used to come home from school and fight over the Grand Rapids Press. In high school she thought she could do better than the school newspaper, so she gathered some friends and spent her senior year running an underground paper called Misc. After that she interned for the Philadelphia City Paper and The Citizens’ Voice in Wilkes-Barre and spent four years reporting for the Reading Eagle (ask about her story on the nudist camp). Along with her work for Keystone Edge, Rebecca has written for the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal, Education.com, pa2010.com and various other print and online publications. She lives outside of Downingtown with her husband Ryan.
