Few industries have changed as much as printing has in the last 20 years.

Gary Brown's technical background helped him keep up with the changes throughout his printing career and as they accelerated when he and his wife started Berks Digital in their basement 2005.

Brown had to learn how to run a business and got much of his education from the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center.

As a result, Berks Digital has enjoyed seven consecutive years of growth. Last month the company earned fourth place out of 15 honorees for the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Entrepreneurs Award.
