So we've been talking a lot about beer at Keystone Edge the past couple months, with Kickstarter projects out of
Erie and
Braddock that promise to bring a new flavor to Pennsylvania craft brewing.
Another one just launched this week in Butler.
Reclamation Brewing Company, consisting of a Baptist pastor, an admissions counselor and a price estimator, is an unlikely trio that already has more than 20 backers and has 27 days to go to reach its $35,000 goal. They are a rather experimental bunch -- their White Sangria Pale Ale mixes tropical flavored hops with mango, pinapple and peaches -- and are striving to make their brews more widely available.
If you're around southwestern PA on Oct. 30, you can taste their diverse lineup of beers at a
Pittsburgh Brewmasters tasting at Bado's Pizza Grill & Ale House (307 Beverly Rd., Mt. Lebanon).
After all, it's Octoberfest.
