We recently got to know the guys at
Artform Gallery & Tattoo in Lower Burrell in
Natalie Grace Sweet's piece on how the state's tattoo artists are moving beyond ink and skin. They were at it again last week, unveiling their
Through the Looking Glass Project, billed as a global infusion of art and technology.
The specific technology involves QR (Quick Response) code, a two-dimensional barcode that looks like a random arrangement of black squares on a white background, readable by barcode readers or camera phones. The encoded information can be text, URL or art.
That's the idea behind Through the Looking Glass, which is on display through June 18. If you decide to visit, bring your smartphone.
