There's a lot the iPhone4 can do, but shooting panoramic -- or 360-degree video -- isn't one of them.
Enter Michael Rondinelli and his Pittsburgh tech startup,
EyeSee360. Billing itself as the technology leader in single-shot panoramic imaging for still and video photography, EyeSee360 is conducting a
Kickstarter campaign to fund development of its
GoPano Micro, a snap-on accessory for the iPhone that allows anyone to easily produce panoramic video.
The company largely drew on its imaging and computer experience through the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, using optical technology and software capabilities originally designed for robotics applications for aviation and military.
