The
Williamsport/Lycoming Keystone Innovation Zone's Greenovation Competition of Central PA is a fresh--and ideally energy-saving--spin on the old business plan competition. Held this fall, the competition encourages the region's entrepreneurs and companies to pursue green product concepts by rewarding the winner with a major jumpstart.
Grand prize winner Ralph Agnoni earned an award package worth $14,550 to help him develop his water saving device for toilets. The
package includes four months of furnished office space, a patent application, concept evaluation, cash and other business services.
Equinox Ltd. was the runner-up, winning a prize valued at $2,300 for its reusable Fruit, Nut and Veggie Bags. In this video, WVIA's Greenlife program features the competition and Equinox.
