Rob McCord, the Treasurer of Pennsylvania since early last year, talked to CNBC recently about why Pennsylvania's fiscal situation is better than many other states, particularly in the Northeast. McCord noted that exports are at an all-time high, and credited PA's agriculture, life sciences and energy sectors. McCord also cited the state's Department of Community and Economic Development for its work on globalizing PA companies' markets. The treasurer also talked about why he thinks more families and businesses should move to Pennsylvania and the Marcellus Shale tax.
