Appropriately located between the building's art and science wings,
Springside School's Rain Wall and Garden is hard to miss when driving down Cherokee Street in Philadelphia. The project, supported by RecycleBank's Green Schools program, the Philadelphia Water Department and the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society, merged art and science to illustrate the issues surrounding stormwater runoff throughout the campus.
Thanks to the design of Spring Mills artist, environmentalist and educator
Stacy Levy, Springside School not only has a compelling conversation piece snaking around its walls, but an amazingly attractive art installation designed to weather any storm.
