All eyes will be on Punxsutawney and our little furry winter ambassador next Wednesday, much like we've been focused across the state on weather maps and storm trackers since the holidays.
Punxsutawney is also home to the
Weather Discovery Center, billed as a place where the science and folklore of weather collide. A majestic building with thick pillars, the center allows visitors to experience the power of a tornado, the effects of lightning and even walk a mile (or just a couple meters) in Punxsutawney Phil's shoes.
